FLAVABOOM
Project architect under the direction of Dune’s principal Richard Shemtov.
“Flavaboom” is a Dune’s complete Interior design and production project; our work started with concept boards and continued all the way to design development, construction documents and production of all pieces of custom furniture, millwork and lighting as well as construction management and coordination of other trades.
The main concept was a self serve environment that felt like a laboratory and brought the frozen yogurt parlor to the 21st century. Clean white walls and a “yummy” color palette for the furniture with sturdy durable materials were the core elements of the design.
This project was a 2011 finalist for "best of the year" by interior design magazine.
